Till I come, give attention to reading.
-- I Timothy 4:13

When you come, bring the books with you, but especially the parchments.
-- II Timothy 4:13

The publications listed here are a supplement to our preaching ministry. Those classed as "booklets" are distributed direct to customers, without any fixed prices. Simply, any contribution that the customer is exercised and able to make toward the expense of producing them, is appreciated. Those classed as "books" are sold either direct to retail customers, or through book stores. We give the usual 40 % trade discount to bona fide book stores. Prices are in Canadian currency. We nevertheless inform book stores, for the sake of honesty, that we often set up book tables at meetings where I preach, at which we distribute these books for voluntary prices, just like our booklets. These book tables amount to such small-scale "sales" that they could hardly be seen as unfair competition with stores.

BOOKLETS:

GATHER MY SAINTS TOGETHER
Showing the absolute need of a local assembly, and commitment to it, in the life of every Christian. An "independent" Christian will necessarily have an anemic spiritual life. Includes instruction on assembly gathering and government. 27 pages. Available in English and French.

I SEE GOOD CHRISTIANS DOING IT-- so it must be all right!
Shows the fallacy of this frequently heard reasoning. Based on the life of David, who, though "a man after God's heart," acted contrarily to the Law of Moses on many apparently minor issues, and lost certain blessings as a result. 27 pages. Available in English and French. To read it in English, click here: [••]

NEW-TESTAMENT ASSEMBLIES: taste? opinion? or conviction?
The New-Testament gives us a clear and unchanging pattern for how to gather in assemblies. It is not just one of many options, but is what God wants for Christians of every age and culture. Includes a historical background, basic distinctives, and the author's testimony of how the Lord opened his eyes to New-Testament church truth. 43 pages. To read this booklet, click here: [••]

I  MUST  TELL  YOU
A 16-page Gospel tract, for seekers requiring a more thorough explanation of the Gospel than a tract the regular size can give. A thorough explanation of repentance and faith, and some basic apologetics. We cannot supply this tract, but readers of this page are free to copy and distribute it on condition that no changes be made, and that copies of it not have printed on them any invitation to meetings where a contradictory message is taught or believed. THE ITINERANT PREACHER, and those who receive him
Practical counsel for all brethren who preach, for itinerant preachers, for assemblies where itinerant preachers minister, and for Christians who lodge itinerant preachers in their homes.

DOES PROPHECY PERMIT REVIVAL IN OUR TIME?
Many Christians think that, since we are living in the last days, we must not expect God to do any more great works; and they present what they think is a scriptural basis for such thinking. This pamphlet examines their reasoning, and shows that, on the contrary, we have a sound scriptural basis for considering a revival to be entirely possible. We therefore encourage saints to pray for and expect one.

CHOOSING GOD'S BEST
The choices a Christian must make are not always a matter of right and wrong. Sometimes they are rather a matter of choosing between the good, or the permissible, and the best. Based on an exegetical study of five biblical characters who chose the good rather than the best, this book shows the differences that such choices make in practical terms.......................................................................................................Retail $ 8.95

WHO IS OF US?
Taking its title from I John 2:19, this book examines whether the ways the Gospel is frequently presented in our day are adequate. How many of our supposed "converts" are genuinely saved? What exactly are repentance and faith? How can we "know them by their fruits?" And what is really the Gospel? With a thorough exegetical study, plus illustrations from history ,and practical suggestions for evangelism the biblical way. Available in English, French, and Spanish...........................................Retail $ 5.95

A LIFE TO CELEBRATE
Meditations on "the feasts of the LORD," taking a different-from-traditional approach. The author sees the three seasons into which the seven feasts were grouped, as being types of the three tenses of salvation-- past justification, present sanctification, and future glorification. But he concentrates on seeking practical and edifying lessons.

WHAT KEEPS US GOING?
Since a Christian isn't driven by seeking to earn his salvation, what does motivate him to live for Christ? We find part of the answer in these meditations on the seven times in Paul's epistles when he "beseeches" or "exhorts" us by some factor to do something. In each case, the word translated "beseech" or "exhort" is a verbal form of the same word translated "Comforter," referring to the Holy Spirit......................................................................Retail $ 5.45
