SF & Fantasy Book Reviews

Last updated June 20th, 1999

Open Book For me, reading has been a pleasure that I've enjoyed since I was a young child. While I don't remember *all* of the books that my parents (and sister) read to me when I was very little, my introduction to science fiction and fantasy was one that started at an early age. One of the nicest things about books is that one can curl up in an armchair, on a sofa, or in bed, and read. Feel the paper between one's fingers. Reading is very much a subjective thing, and one's appreciation or lack thereof for a book requires reflection after the fact. Below, you'll find a series of book reviews that I've written in recent years for various purposes and for my own gratification. Naturally enough, there have been some really good reads, and some really poor reads. As in all such cases, the opinions on this set of pages are my own, and tend to be subjective.
