Jethro Tull Links and Resources

Last updated February 1st, 2002

With the sheer number of fans that Jethro Tull has inspired, there are plenty of web sites devoted to the Tull phenomenon. While I think it's impossible to list each and every one of these Tull sites on the web, I've chosen to select a few that are some of my favourite Jethro Tull websites, and point you in their direction... If you come across any Jethro Tull websites that I haven't listed here which you think I should check out, please send me e-mail on the subject. In the meantime, on to some of my favourite Tull sites...

The obvious place to start (and some would maintain, the best) is the Official Jethro Tull Website that Andy Giddings (yes, *that* Andy Giddings!) has set up and maintains.

The second best places on the web is The St. Cleve Homepage. This is my favourite Tull set of pages on the web, and has the Jethro Tull FAQ, lyrics, a discography (doesn't everyone?), and other stuff. You used to be able to subscribe to the St. Cleve Chronicle, which is the Jethro Tull mailing list, but with the official Tull site, it seems the mailing list has gone the way of the dodo.

Another good site on the web is Sigi's Tull page. The late Sigi Kluger has some amazing stuff on his Tull pages, and there are some great pictures and sound bytes here as well.

Krista Pounders has a nice Tull 'R Us page. This site has lots of sounds on it.

The Jethro Tull Room is likely the best place gto go for Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson photos on the web that I've found so far.

Another good sit to pay a visit to is Dag Sandbu's Jethro Tull set of pages. There's some good stuff here.

Geocities is hosting some good pages set up by Tull fans. One of these is this Jethro Tull page that has some good stuff on it. When it comes to bootleg audio and video material, this is where to go.

Another one of the best sites on the web is Mike Lynch's Jethro Tull Site This site has some truly amazing stuff on it.

The Acres Wild site, formerly just "Phil Tibbles' Page," has some lovely Tull material on it.

Another good site is Laufi's Jethro Tull Page, a very large site that has some good images, and is frequently updated.

Adam Bodkin's Jethro Tull site is one of the great sites on the web, and it's run by the fellow who set up the Tull Ring.

The Annotated Passion Play site is a brilliant concept: the complete lyrics, just as Dave Steiner has them, but with notes on what everything means.

Another good site to check out is Jan Voorbij's Annotated Tull Lyrics set of pages.

Talking Tull is a website that is devoted to intelligent discussion of Jethro Tull's music. This one is a great idea, methinks.

Jungle Jim's Jethro Tull Wallpaper site features images of rare CD singles and most albums. Very nice.

Strathaird Quality Seafoods is the site for the salmon farm that Ian Anderson used to own. Times change.
