Jethro Tull, Past & Present (Members, That Is)

Last updated May 11th, 2000

Jethro Tull... One of the most amazing things about the band is that having been around since 1968 or so, the roster of band members is not as lengthy as it might have been, yet the band has had a changing membership that reflected individual members' tastes in music, changing times in the nature of music, and the evolution of people as it is reflected in life changes on the part of each member of the band. Here is a list that I have compiled of some of Tull's present and previous members, what they did, what they've done, what they are doing, and where they went. This list is by no means all-inclusive simply because all the info is not readily available (especially for the more recent albums). I realize that there is much to add and correct. If you have anything to add or correct, please e-mail me and I will update it as soon as I can.

However, if nothing else, Jethro Tull is a testament to the vision of one man, a man who has been with the band since the beginning - Ian Anderson. So take a look at the list below of the members of Jethro Tull, and pick one or more of them to check out.
