Hollow Earth Expedition Errata Page

The following page is a listing of the various errata that have come to my attention about the various Hollow Earth Expedition rulesbooks and supplementary material. This listing of errata for the game system is by no means complete, and I would appreciate it if anyone who has additional errata, corrections, modifications or the like would get in touch with me about these via e-mail so that I can continue to add to the errata listings for the system.

Hollow Earth Expedition (HEX) RPG Rulebook Errata

Page 81:

In the Character Background on the Big Game Hunter, in the fifth paragraph, the write-up mentions Tanzania and Zimbabwe, neither of which existed in the present form (or name) during the 1930's. Tanzania (a combination of Tanganyika and Zanzibar) was just Tanganyika, and Zimbabwe was Southern Rhodesia (or just Rhodesia).

Page 101:

In the Character Background on the Rugged Explorer, in the fourth paragraph, it is stated that the character hopped a "container ship". These weren't, in fact, invented yet, as per the rulebook's historical section (see page 23), so this should be altered to a "cargo ship".

Page 169:

In the section on "The Short Campaign" at the bottom of the second column, the text refers to the fact that the section on Pacing can be found on page 171. It's actually on page 172.

Page 211:

In the section on the Pirate, In the game statistics section, the Health rating is missing. This should read "Health 4".

Page 220:

In the material on Dire Wolves, in the game statistics section, in the Skills section, the Survival Skill rating should be 6, not 4, to reflect the Skill Aptitude found under the Talents.

Page 224:

In the material on the Saber-Toothed Cat, in the game statistics section, if they suffer a Stealth penalty of -1 due to Size, then all of the various elements of the game statistics affected by Size should be altered. Furthermore, under the Secondary Statistics, the Size should be listed as "1" not "0".
