This one needs a bit of explanation and pointing out. First of all, might I mention the floating 'wings' of the maple leaf, they were not proped up in any way, they were attached at the base of the leaf and they just float there. Now this sculpture represents our beautiful country that takes care of everyone, no matter who they are. We have the massive leaf that envelopes all four characters: On the left, we have the scholar, in the middle we have the social worker, on the right we have a construction worker, and in front, to the right, we have a person in a weelchair. To put this sculpture in perspective, just look at the size of the people in the background and keep in mind that a 5'8" person is about as tall as one of the side branches of the leaf.
